Private by default
A club roster is not public data, and we don't treat it like it is.
Everything members post lives behind the login unless an officer deliberately publishes it on the Public Site. That's the difference between a club site and a social network.
Members only, always
Forums, the roster, messages and albums are invisible to the public. Publishing anything takes an explicit switch.
No ads, no data selling
The club pays for the tool, so your members aren't the product. Nothing about them is sold, rented or fed to an ad network.
Your content stays yours
Export the roster, the photos and the posts whenever you like. Leaving is allowed, and it doesn't cost you the club's history.
Officers you can change
Roles are granted and revoked by the club, not by us. Nobody ends up as the permanent owner of a club they left in 2019.

Do members have to pay anything?
No. The club subscribes, and every member uses everything for free.
Do we need a web developer?
No, and you don't need a theme, a plugin or a hosting account either. If you can post to a group, you can run the club's site.
Can we keep our current web address?
Yes. Point the domain the club already owns at your Keep The Club site and neither members nor the public relearn anything.
Half our members aren't computer people.
That's who it's built for. Plain layouts, readable type, one login, and it works in the phone browser they already have. No app store.
Can we move off our Facebook group?
Yes. Bring the member list and the photos that matter, put the rest in the forum as you go, and leave the group up as a signpost.
